| Gu Yanwu is the famous scholar on Ancient Phonology in Qing Dynasty.In theacademic community, it’s recogonized that Gu’s constributions are focus at hisexploration into archaic Chinese rhymes, dividing them into ten parts, construingTang Yun, and studies on entering tones distribution.However, previous scholars aremostly engaged in researches about Gu’s first three contributions, and ignoresentering tones rhymes researches.In the rhyming dictionary "Guang Yun", it matchesentering tone rhymes with Yang Sheng rhymes, but Gu systematically matchesentering tone rhymes with Yin Sheng rhymes for the first time and successfullychanges this long-term setup.Gu Yanwu divides archaic Chinese rhymes into tenparts, and matches entering tones rhymes with rhymes of "Zhi, Yu, Xiao, Qin".Concerning with the researches of Gu Yanwu’s entering tones distribution, mostscholars comments on Gu’s studies based on Gu’s conclutions in "Gu Yin Biao".This text takes "Shi Ben Yin"and "Tang Yun Zheng"as basis material.This articlesorts out the rhyme units of Shu sheng rhymes and entering tones rhymes in "ShiBen Yin" and the situations of entering tones rhymes which are noted as Shu Shengrhymes in "Tang Yun Zheng" and tries to find out Gu Yanwu’s entering tonesdistribution and where the distribution comes from.This article is divided into three parts.The first part introduces the life of GuYanwu, the studies on Gu’s studies on archaic Chinese rhymes and the meaning ofchoosing this thesis.The second part speaks about the rhymes situations of theentering tone characters according to the rhymes spectrum of "Shi Ben Yin".In viewof the above, this text presents the outcomings through a list of rhymes situationsabout entering tone rhymes and Shu Sheng rhymes.In the end, this text compares theoutcomings with Gu’s conclusions.In Part3, the author labels the sounds of ShuSheng rhymes of the entering tones characters in "Tang Yun Zheng" and comparesthe results with Gu’s conclusions in "Gu Yin Biao". |
