The Application Of Communicative Testing Theory In Chinese Ability Testing

Language test is an interdisciplinary and comprehensive science.It aims to use scientific tools to give the tester an accurate and fair evaluation on his language competence. The language testing is closely related to our outlook on language, language acquisition and teaching study. In the modern teaching Chinese as a foreign language, communicative teaching has been widely used, but the corresponding communicative testing has not been appropriate to use.That is to say, our current testing method used in the Chinese language testing needs to be further improved. Compared to the foreign, China is still in the exploration and development of testing. Especially in the field of language testing, there is a few studies on testing of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.So the author tries to use Bachman’s communicative testing to solve this problem.In other words, the author hopes to conceive a model of testing system to test the student’s comprehensive language competence.
