A Study Of Gu Zhenli And Her Ci Poems

Gu Zhenli was an outstanding poetess between the late Ming and early Qingperiod, who was spoken highly of by people living in the Qing dynasty.But theresearch is limited to descriptive chit-chat, and lack of theoretical and systematic. Inrecent years, some progress has been made in studies of Gu Zhenli’s ci-poems, butalso not comprehensive enough.This article based on a comprehensive study of GuZhenli’s family life and thought, then concentrated on her ci-poems in-depth study. Itry to understand the profound meaning of Gu Zhenli’s ci-poems through detailedtextual analysis, master her unique artistic style, experience her bold handsome coolspirit temperament and unusual life experience.The introduction part mainly summarize the current research status of Gu Zhenli.so as to put forward the direction and focus of this research.The thesis is composed of four parts.The first chapter, firstly，I carried a brief research on Gu Zhenli’s birth year. Andthen focus on analysis the influence of the family culture and times background on GuZhenli, tries to reveal the cultural origins and the times atmosphere of Gu Zhenli’sci-poems. On this basis, draw the outline of Gu Zhenli capricious fate, multi-level,multi-angle to show her personality and thought.The second chapter, discusses the relationship between Gu Zhenli and Liang Xipoet groups. Liang Xi poet groups is a ci-poetry community who are based on theregional characteristics, they have a common pursuit and aesthetic taste. As only afemale poet of Liang Xi Ci-poetry community, Gu Zhenli will be affected to a certainextent. Firstly, this chapter make a general introduction to Liang Xi poet groups, andthen discuss the association between Gu Zhenli and Liang Xi poet groups, primarilywith Gu Zhenguan. Words will then describe the Mid-Autumn Changhe, attempts toshow regional culture’s influence on Gu Zhenli. Finally, discuss the associationbetween Gu Zhenli and Wu Xi talented women, primarily with Wang Lang.The third chapter, discusses the rich ideological content of Gu Zhenli’s ci-poems.From the detailed analysis of the four aspects of Gu Zhenli word content, including yonghuai ci,yongwu ci,chouzeng ci and huaigu ci. There is a strong subjectiveconsciousness in Gu Zhenli’s ci-poems, which is illustrated from four different aspects:the awareness of women of themselves, fame consciousness, talent consciousness andflee buddhist consciousness.The fourth chapter, discusses the art style of Gu Zhenli’s ci-poems based onimplication, images and style. Gu Zhenli’s ci-poems has deep meaning, wide andsingle images, showing the poet’s spiritual characteristics. This chapter from threeimage into wine, dream, shadow, analyzes in detail Gu Zhenli ci image contains richaffection aggregates.The style of Gu Zhenli’s ci-poems is given priority to withstrength straight thin down, reservation is complementary.
