"Value neutrality" is one of the main contents of the social science methodology of Max Weber. This is the result of he tried to reconcile the opposing views of "positivism" and "neo-Kantian"Max Weber, was born in the late19th century and early20th century, Weber is considered to be the giant of sociology, his research fields composed of sociology, economics, political science, philosophy, law, and his thoughts had an immeasurable impact on future generations. Especially its "value-neutrality" methodological thought, is a major contribution to social science, and has also been the principle of social science research. This principle of "value-neutrality" has objective tendencies, such features can be avoided subjective in study, so it can ensure scientific and objective of study.This paper is divided into six chapters to study the "value neutrality" of Weber.Chapter1, to do a brief review on "value neutrality" of previous studies so can found the problem with the space of this research project and can be facilitate do a study more in-depth. Chapter2,to discuss the theoretical background of Weber "value neutrality", regression Webber era where and then analysis the era specific academic situation. Chapter3, traces the history of philosophy, philosophical analysis of "value-neutrality" doctrine, a step-by-step separation of fact and value from Hume to Kant and then positivism. Chapters4and5, return to the text, interpret the three text related the "value-neutrality" of Weber expounded the meaning of value neutrality. Chapter6tempts to discuss the impli cation of the "value-neutrality’, conception upon the Social scientific research in our country.
