During the socialization, positive evaluation and experience about self-worth one gets isself-esteem, it has special core-place in self-system, and it has influence on individuals’emotion, motivation, and behaviors and other mental processes. As same as test anxiety, it is akind of mental state to express by different emotional reaction which is aroused in a certaintest situation and restricted by individual body and mind factors, its essential character isworry, and behavioral way is defense or escape. The high-school students are in teen-agersstage, due to the self-esteem of them is easily affected by all kinds of factors, and heavyschool work, they could feel different degree test anxiety, it dose not reduce school workscore and psychological quality, but also threaten physical health.In this study, questionnaire and experimentation method were applied to explorerelationship between self-esteem and test Anxiety of high-school students under different testsituations. First, use questionnaire measure the self-esteem condition of high-school students.Then, select high-low-level self-esteem high-school students and create two kinds of testsituations, make them equally take the test under two kinds of test situations and measure thetest anxiety. At last, individually train self-esteem of the ones whose test anxiety is aroused bythe low-level self-esteem. The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1) The development situation of self-esteem of high-school students is relatively well,the number of higher-level self-esteem students is the most, and equal level is lower. Thelevel of self-esteem of high-school students should be promoted.(2) The development of self-esteem of high-school students has its relevant traits ongrads and gender. On grades it appears “low-high-low handstand U shape” developmentalstate: significantly rise from grade one to two, and slightly fall from grade two to three, gradeone is the important time of the self-esteem development of high-school students. On gender,self-esteem of girls is significantly lower than the boys.(3) High-school students whose level of self-esteem is low, their test anxiety is allsignificantly higher than the high-level ones under two kinds of test situations. Self-esteemplays a key role in test anxiety of high-school students.(4) High-school students whose level of self-esteem is low, their per-test anxiety is allsignificantly higher than test anxiety during test under two kinds of test situations; thehigh-level ones, per-test anxiety of theirs is significantly higher than test anxiety during testonly under the important test situation. Test situation has influence on high-school studentswhose levels of self-esteem are different. (5) High-school students whose level of self-esteem is low, test anxiety of theirs underthe important test situation is all significantly higher than under the ordinary test situation,they are more easily affected by test situation, but the high-level ones are not.(6)After individual self-esteem training of3students, the self-esteem of them aresignificantly promoted, and test anxiety are significantly dropped, these results are alsosignificantly different with the students who are not trained, and the level can be keep incertain period, The overall appearance of the trained students also obviously changed.Self-esteem training has effectively facilitated the development of high-school studentshealthily and roundly.
