Abstract:Contemporary environmental aesthetic has numerous traits.First, the reflection on the concept of environment request that we should break the division between subject and object that is following the mind-body dualism, the environment is not an object that out of us but a category of value that have close connection with our body and spirit eixistence; Secondly, the ontological relationship between man and environment emphasize the ecological integrity eminently, thus the relationship is an ethical one between value subjects. Through the contemporary aesthetics viewpoint, environmental appreciation has a complex relationship with environmental cognition and artistic aesthetics, for they are in diverse and also in common. Environmental aesthetics and environmental cognition are different in whether in a non-interested attitude, but this difference is not absolutized and only depends on the ethic-orientation spin; environmental aesthetics and artistic aesthetics got the same spiritual core, but also got an apparent difference in the traits of borderless, multi-sensory engagement and variability in engagement activity.The argument on aesthetic model following the talks about the traits of environmental appreciation tend to be more complicated, the elaboration of different model theory offer their answers to the question of what is the ideal environmental model from different theory viewpoint.Among them, the two most far-reaching and typical models are Arnold Berleant’s "the engagement model" and Allen Carlson’s "the scientific cognitive model "."The engagement model" restore the organic whole process of environmental aesthetics from phenomenological vision and show it eminently from cultural organism’s enbodyment,the merging of aesthetic perception and daily perception and the pursue of hommization;"the scientific cognitive model" emphasize a serious, scientific environmental aesthetics from a demand of normativity and show it eminently from objective dualism,ethical tendency on scientific cognition and the later functionism thought.The controversial issues of the two models are in intervention and separation, monism and dualization. With the criticism of the traditional and modern environmental aesthetic thoughts, we put forward the three key points of ideal model:the integration of utiliy and aesthetic attitude, the combination view of in-motion viewing and in-position viewing, engaging experience of synaesthesia. The three key points direct to the experience of aesthetic perception all together, among them the superable integration of utiliy and aesthetic attitude, the integrational engagement model of in-motion and in-position and the integrational aesthetic of perceptional synaesthesia restore the theoretical direction of environmental aesthetic respectively from aesthetic attitude, aesthetic engagement and aesthetic experience.
