In daily communication, conflict talk is a common but complex linguistic phenomenon. Conflict talk is also known as the adversative episode. Conflict talk could be classified into two aspects that one is narrow sense, the other is broad sense. In a narrow sense, it refers to a kind of verbal behavior, such as opposing, disagreeing and arguing. In a broad sense, it refers kind of conflict verbal behavior, when two or more participants hold different ideas, feelings and interestings in the same thing. For example, quarrel,oppositional argument and dispute.In this paper, some data based on Gossip Girl Third, which is from CW of American TV series. Generally speaking, we use qualitative and quantitative manner to analyze the structure of the conflict talk. In the English context, to analyze the beginning, the climax, and the ending of the conflict talk. And then to summary conflict talk formats. In this paper, researcher pays attention to the structure of conflict talks based on turn-taking system of one part in conversation analysis. In the same time, according to overlapping talk, adjacency pairs and preference organization to analyze conflict talk.From analyzing conflict talk, to summary the beginning,the climax and the ending of the conflict talk. First, at the beginning, there are three starting formats:claim vs. counter-claim, directive vs. refusal, and doubtful question vs. negative answer. Second, in the climax, there are four formats:argumentative, non-obedience, repetition and rhetorical questions. They are four major formats. Third, in the end, there are six formats:submission, stand-off, compromise, third party intervention, withdrawal and humorous termination.In this paper, we hope to analyze the whole conflict talk and to summary best strategies for conflict talk. To help the generation and organization formats of conflict talk.
