The Chaco War, was also Known a war, which has Been described as one of the deadliest conflicts in the Americas during theTwentieth Century. And the war The chaco war had a significant influence in theinternational community.Meanwhile, in this connection the all-important fact was the complete failure ofall neutral efforts either to prevent armed hostilities or to terminate them before thewar had raged for three full years. The League of the nations plays an important roleduring the Chaco war.The Pan American Commission of Inquiry and Conciliation at Washington, theWashington Commission of Neutrals, the peace bloc was formed by the neighboring“ABCP†powers (Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Peru), and the League of Nationssuccessively undertook to settle the dispute. The strong moral pressure for peacegenerated at the Seventh Pan American Conference produced only a short truce. In this chapter we describe the framework we use to address these questions, aswell as the explanatory variables we include in Multilateralism framework. TheLeague of Nations was a legal status for certain territories transferred from the controlof one country to another following World War I, or the legal instruments thatcontained the internationally agreed-upon terms for administering the territory onbehalf of the League. However, the initial factor responsible for the Chaco Commission sent over bythe League of Nations was engaged in negotiation with the belligerents, Bolivia andParaguay for a peace Settlement. In general, this conclusion is that the role of The League of the Nations wasvery important. In the first half of the thesis I examined the Processes of the ChacoWar. In the second half, I explored the efforts of The League of the Nations to settlethe Chaco war. I advocate for the role of the League of Nations and the peaceagreement ultimately ended up. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | The Chaco War, the League of the Nations, Multilateralism | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
