Today’s society is a pluralistic society of all-around opening up with the popularity of Chinese painting reached an unprecedented level, but many lack of cultural connotation seriously in which only has the form of Chinese painting whereas short of unique national spirit of the Chinese ink painting. Therefore, it is on the top of our agenda to recognize the literati paintings again.The creation main body mostly is male painters in the development history of Chinese traditional painting. Naturally, later in the inheritance and study of literati painting is also focused on male painters since the creation of literati painting. The famous female artist Guan Daosheng who lived at the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty, however, broke painting situation dominated by male painters. Guan Daosheng a leader of the artistic accomplishments of the literati of Yuan Dynasty literati not even worked with the elements of literati painting, poetry, calligraphy, painting combined, and still partly, creative bamboo new bamboo grove elegant works which not lies dye dust color as a female painter of innovative, but also is a female artist who had left the earliest paintings on leave name shall on paintings in ancient China.This paper focuses on the study on contains all bamboo painting literati in the plot by means of analysis of literature and legend contrast, reasoning, and is divided into the following three parts:The first part concentrated in the first two chapters, while the first chapter of literati painting defines the formation and development of a theoretical overview and then analyze her social status of Guan Daosheng’s life in order to further elaborated in the artistic achievements she works handed downThe second part focuses on the third, four chapters which analyze the style and the cause of the bamboo paintings of Guan Daosheng.The third part is concentrated in the fifth chapter which analyzes the elements of bamboo in painting of Guan Daosheng, even analyzes her characters on disregarded of fame and fortune, away from the earth, and the pursuit of unfettered life of the literati plot. Thus it is more comprehensive, in-depth understanding of the meaning and essence of literati painting.
