This article is divided in three parts. The first part introduces us the writer and his creation.And four works selected are premary explained. The second part focuses on the analysis of theabsurd narrative, including the relationship between the hero and the world. The third partexplains why the writer has chose absurd as a creative theme and how he makes it come true.In this article, four novels of Genazino are selected. They are “Eine Frau, ein Roman,“EineFrau, eine Wohnung, ein Roman”,“Ein Regenschirm für diesen Tag”,“Die Liebesbl digkeitS”,and“Das Glück in glücksfernen Zeiten”, in order to analyze the "absurd" and hero in Genazino’stext. Genazino is famous for the written of humorous but satirical novels. He specializes in thedetailed description of the day-to-day trivial life. His works therefore was considered by critics"contemporary German psychological history.”Absurd refers that a variety of abnormalities and unconscionable things occur in normal world.No explanation can be given to the contradictory. And in Genazino’s novels is absurd expressedin the way of monologue. For example, the hero Weigand has found that people behave like abuffoon in the present of the media. And more ironical is that the task of the hero is to put thisfalse public emotion onto the newspaper. Gradually he lost his passion in the work.In addition tothe characterization of the absurd, Genazino has also depict the psychological state of the person.Heros in his works have selected different ways of living and have experienced differentabsurdity.Absurd is historically one of the majoy themes that writers prefer. Wilhelm Genazino, whowas awarded of the Bücher Prize in Literature2004, the most prestigious award for Germanliterture and writers, whose works worth accordingly being analysed. Profound and humorous,Genazino, whose work was based on the real urban life of Germany, has presented an era beforeus.
