Schubert (1797-1828), who is one of the representatives of early romanticmusic in the West in the19th century, plays an important role in the history of westernmusic. His vocal music works create a pioneer for the Romanticism, and hisinstrumental music works, with inheriting classical music style as its maincharacteristics, combine classical style with the factors of folk music organically. In hisinstrumental music works, he makes full use of the tone of songs and highlights itsrelationship with national folk music, which reflects its innovative factors in the smriti.Impromptus, which produced in the early19th century, is a kind of instrumental musiccharacteristic piece in the romantic period. In the paper, the author chooses Schubertimpromptus as the research object, and presents an musical analysis of its wholestructure to elaborate on the smriti and development of classical music so as to revealthe laws and relationships between its smriti and development.The paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is about the origin andevolution of impromptus, which sums up the process of its origin and evolution fromthree main aspects--the formation and development of Schubert impromptus, the smritiand innovation of Chopin impromptus, and the development of piano impromptus latersince the19th century. The second chapter introduces the smriti of classical musicbased on Schubert impromptus from two aspects of music ideas and musictechniques. As for the smriti of music techniques, it mainly explains from melody, rhythm, harmony, melody structure, and modal tonality. The third chapter is about thecontributions Schubert piano impromptus makes in the development of classical musicfrom the equipartition rhythm, the instrumentation of vocal music form, and thecombination of piano texture with the melody of songs. The fourth chapter introducesthe historical effects of Schubert impromptus on the style of classical music.
