In recent years, disaster film is rapidly developing as a genre, also increasing the degree of concern for disaster film. Evaluation of many professional scholars disaster film is no longer confined to film their own content form and film technology, but from the deep aesthetic significance, practical significance and artistic value theoretically analyze the disaster film. This article will elaborate four-parts:The first chapter of disaster movies made clear definition and classification. To comb the development of disaster movie, then expounds the disaster film from silent silent only pure disaster situation to use advanced technologies such as digital nowadays revealed an immersive shock effect and profound significance of modern film. This chapter also cultural connotation to carry on the detailed description of disaster film. Through the moral of disaster movies and objective summarized its historical significance and cultural value. To a certain extent, people in the disaster film visual stimulation also led to the thinking of their own living environment and humanistic values, disaster film has a unique aesthetical appeal and aesthetical implication.
