Her works are decided by her experiences of daily life and emotion.In view of the society, Xiao Hong focused on the human being’s experiences. Her works are full of obvious individual consciousness and the female’s pressure in a man-powered society. As a female writer, Xiao Hong thought self-consciousness about the different status of male and female occupied in the society. To explore the life, reflecting on the tragic fate of women and obvious individual consciousness formed the thought of her works, and these three factors are throughout all her creation. The concern of life is the premise and supporting point of all. The observation of the women is her concentrated expression about life. The individual consciousness emerges from female identity and the concern of life. It is three factors appearing in Xiao Hong’s works that make her novels show the eternal value, shining bright light in the literature history.The paper contains a total of three parts, each part are as follows:The first chapter, discussing the consciousness of life from two aspects-the presentation of life forms and the value of life inquiry-to reveal the profound life consciousness and richness; The second chapter analyzes the gender consciousness in Xiao Hong’s novels. To explore the causes of female tragedy from the gender perspective. The third chapter refers to psychology "complex" concept, to analysis of loneliness and nostalgia in Xiao Hong’s novels.
