The formation of the nation-state has many factors。but the role of Religion iseasily overlooked。but actually the opposite, that religion is a factor can not beignored. the Catholic Church plays an important role in the European nation-state, butalso the dominant direction of a spiritual realm. As time going, the Church becomethe resistance in the development of nation-state.Elngland is one of the earlier nation-state in the world. Religion has afar-reaching impact on the development of the nation-state of the United Kingdom.And the Reformation help the British nation-state to be established. Its ideologicalgained independence plays a decisive role.the Reformation is not only to get rid ofthe medieval theology bound towards Modern England, and also to promote theBritish internal national political system. At the same time, the Reformation gavebirth to a unique path of development of the British nation-state.Reformation is the practice of the movement of the national consciousness. thenation-state of United Kingdom to be the really establishment through religiousreform. British powerful lead to extreme expansion of national self-confidence andpsychological establishment with which the United Kingdom to expand overseasforces.
