The Study On The Cultivation Of Social Moral Emotion In Contemporary China

The phenomenon of lack of moral emotion of social members in China now ismore widespread, seriously affecting the moral character and moral construction ofour country’s social effect. In view of the important status and role in the developmentof moral emotion in people’s moral quality, cultivating our social member’s moralemotion to build China into a virtuous society has a strong practical significance.Therefore, cultivating the moral emotion of our social members should become animportant issue of current moral philosophy researchers and moral educators inresponse to real moral problem.Research on the moral emotion, the domestic and foreign research achievementsare very rich, but most of these studies only focused on the basic theory and thefunction of moral emotion. The research on how to cultivate and develop the moralemotion is rare. This paper tries to regard cultivating moral emotion as the researchobject based on the moral practice of our social members in the real life, analysis ofthe obstacle factors affecting the education of our social moral emotion, the methodand strategy on improving the level of our social members’ moral emotion and theoutlook of our social morality. Following the research idea:This paper consists of four chaptersThe first chapter is the introduction. First, it describes the unsatisfied moralstatus of current Chinese society. Then it analysis the current moral situation is linkedwith the lack of moral emotion of our society and cultivating and promoting socialmember’s moral emotion is very important for changing the current social style.Finally it briefly introduces the domestic and foreign research achievements about themoral emotion theory and Chinese and foreign scholar’ deepen understanding of theessence of moral emotion.The second chapter briefly introduces the current academic about some basictheories of moral emotion, such as moral emotional nature, functions, etc. Point thefunctional value of moral emotion. Moral emotion is not as previously commonlyknown as simple only produced in the moral cognition and moral cognition only by decision. It has another way and it can positively influence the moral cognition, and asa intermediary transform from moral cognition to the moral behavior, moral emotionhas motivation strength and it can stimulate the moral behavior, cultivating andimproving the individual moral emotion has the meaning that can not be ignored toenhance their moral quality.The third chapter analyzes the inhibitory factors of the current social members’cultivation of moral emotion from the social background in present China, separatelyfrom the society, school, family and other aspects of the current suppression ofmembers of our society moral emotion and the unfavorable factors of our socialmembers’ moral emotion cultivation.In the last part of this article, it puts forward to the method of our socialmembers’ cultivating moral emotion from the social, school, family and personalaspects aimed at the inhibitory factors of cultivating our social members’ moralemotion through the related subjects on cultivating of moral emotion and thedevelopment theory. This research aims at that society should make efforts to create agood social moral environment, family and school should realize the importance ofadolescent emotional needs and protect, nurture their moral emotion by a scientificand reasonable way. People should join the moral life of practice and strengthen theirmoral reflection. Combined with the use of these methods to improve our social moraland emotional level and the outlook of our social moral has strong practicalsignificance.
