Because the society is open than ever before in Tang Dynasty, the status and education ofthe palace women is also greatly improved. They not only actively participate in the fiercepolitical race, but also create a great number of poetry. According to topic type, the poetry thatthe palace women create in the tang dynasty can be divided into temple worship poems,boudoir-plaint poems, landscape poems, presenting poems, religious poems, etc. There havenot only noble queen, empresses, imperial concubines, and so on, and also humblemaids-in-waiting. Because their identity, status, ideas are not identical, creative mentality arealso different, Such as the male chauvinism mentality of Wu zetian and Wei queen, theflattering and catering to the emperor mentality of Wan-er Shangguan, Song sisters, BaoJunhui, longing for love and yearning for freedom mentality of the ladies-in-waiting. But theirpoems written in bold, free and unrestrained, they show confidence and uplifting, positivemental attitude. However, in view of the earlier Tang Dynasty palace women of excessive interventionand the turbulent An Lushan Rebellion, Li Tang rulers in order to maintain the rule, theyconsciously reduce the status of palace women in the late tang dynasty. Palace women’spoetry decline sharply, it follows the changing track. But the literature contribution of thepalace women in Tang Dynasty is indelible, they not only witness and participate in thedevelopment of history, but also promote the rapid development of the history of literature. The poetic creation of the palace women has important literary significance.
