| This thesis analyze the conversation of Job Interviews Show. It is mainly dividedinto five chapters.The first chapter states the research status of Job Interviews Conversation. Thenext four introduce the context, the conversational structure, the conversationalstrategies, as well as the conversational principles of the Job Interviews Show.Context, mainly introduces social linguists and pragmatic scientists’ definition.According to pragmatic scientists’ definition, this thesis use situational knowledge toanalyze the context, summarize the time, location, theme, participants and formaldegree of “Job Come Job Goâ€.This thesis mainly analyzes the conversational structure of job interviews show,introduce the original, the development of conversational structure, states twotheories——adjacent pairs and three-session structure, use the second theory toanalyze the job interview show. Even though there’re four participants in the program,this thesis mainly analyze the dialogue between the interviewer and interviewee.Whether to recognize words by step before a pragmatic assumptions, conversationstructure is divided into supporting or challenging discourse structure. In the jobinterview, the support structure is dominant and this paper also analyzed the reasonsof follow step missing.Conversational strategy, mainly introduce the questioning and answeringstrategies. The ultimate goal of the interviewer is recruited to the company’s needs, sothe interviewer will ask questions in this guiding principles. The interviewer willjudge from information, the information here includes both interviewees presentedthemselves, and interviewers obtained by asking. Response strategies can be analyzedfrom both macro and micro, macro strategies include interruption and remediationstrategies; microscopic conversational strategies include speed, job objective, jobattitudes, personal experiences, expertise and other aspects.In the number principle, job seekers should try to fully answer the interviewer’s questions, but, concise; In quality principles, the players should not lie that makeinterviewers feel disgusted. In terms of praise principle, interviewees must response toface interviewer’s praise. In modesty guidelines, job seekers should master a modestscale, neither too humble nor too proud. |
