The ocean seems boundless,fluctuates myriad, and sometimes calms, sometimes the wind suddenly, often deliverssurprises. Living from the sea of the fishermen, from generation to generation in a windwave pointed mouth, just to get food. However, in the sea as they bring abundant Marineresources at the same time, also brought them life dangerous, often happen "absent haikou,imitators" misfortune. The fishermen after in daily production and life, in the face of ahuman can not control the ocean, eager to supernatural powers can give them a helpinghand, as a result, the sea god’s belief subsequently and produced, and then development andchanged day by day, finally into the system.East Island fishing area is the birthplace of fisheries, ports in the history; it also hassome isolated islands before. The life of fisherman is very tough, and also had two orderswhich forbid them living on the islands in history; it made the life harder for the fishermenin this area. In the process of the sea step by step, the sea god belief is also changed anddeveloped, and it brought the confidence and encouraged the fishermen in fishing and trade,it also have made great contribution for ocean exploration and ocean civilization, also hasplayed a certain positive role of the region’s economic development.This thesis mainly inspects the sea god belief of east coastal Taizhou, Ningbo andZhou Shan island fisherman, it will focus on the main deity of the sea and regional features,explore the characteristics of the east Zhejiang island fishing zone sea belief, then summaryand analysis, in the new development period, think about its practical significance in thedevelopment of Marine culture and its cultural value, and then provides somecountermeasures and Suggestions for the government management and cultural inheritance.
