Ottoman Empire is another great empire after the Arab empire,Europe, Asia and Africa three continents in its rule by administrativedivision, military control, economic control, such as religiousrepression policy to maintain its rule. Syria in the Arab world at a veryimportant position, whether past or present, from its location orposition, from the Middle East has been important. Core of Syria, islocated in the new area and the surrounding some of the Arab states,Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine have a strong cultural identity,constitute the so-called "Great Syria"(Great Syria). Because of itsspecial geographical location, by other countries in history, theOttoman Empire four hundred years, the Syrian people never ceasedto struggle, the complex characteristics of the local religious tieswith Syria, makes the Ottoman Empire, the central relations withSyria place become more complex.This paper introduces from the perspective of the relationshipbetween central and local central relations with Syria where theOttoman Empire period. The first part introduces Damascus, Syriaand two concepts; The second part expounds the Ottoman empire, the evolution of the relationship between central and local authorities,including an overview of the Ottoman empire, the Ottoman empire,the evolution of administrative division, the Ottoman empirerelationship between central and local characteristics; The third partexpounds the Ottoman empire in the19th century the centralrelations with Syria, this part contains the Syria’s administrativedivisions, the central government and local administrative relations,economic relations, military relations and characteristics such ascontent; The fourth part expounds the influence of internal andexternal factors, the relationship between central and localauthorities on strength change, especially have the effect ofinfiltration of the western great powers.
