The study of secondary control, which rises in the1982s, has been one of a focus of the control. After nearly30years of exploration, this field has accumulated rich theoretical and empirical achievements, particularly about secondary control defined and as a coping strategy to overcome illness, stress or misfortune in life, Especially the positive effets on health of secondary control. However, the study of attribution of secondary control has been concerned in recent years, with little empirical achievements. On the one hand, the focus of reseach in this field concerns about the influence of factors such as religion and culture on secondary control, Although mostly researches explore is the direct effects of various factors, few researches indirectly influencing factors. On the other hand, secondary control are new concept in china, which studies are mainly fasten on definition at present. The reseaches on several aspects of secondary control is a whole new frontier in china. This article concerns the some factors influencing the formation of secondary control, On the basic of the previous researches of examining the perceived control and secondary relationship, this article is aimed to prove by detailed study and research that prolong control deprivation brings individuals to an increasing inclination to use secondary control. and order seeking mediates this process. It also hypothesized that prolong control deprivation decreases order confirmation. To achieve this goal, this study was composed of following two specific researches:Research one, we deprived subjects’perceived control by the task of figure out the concept,we can judgement whether prolong control deprivation cause people to increasing inclination to use secondary control through assessed two groups(control group vs deprivation group) behaviour. Result showed that control group felt a marked higher perceived control compared with deprivation group, prolong control deprivation brings individuals to an increasing inclination to use secondary control.Research two, Comprehensive the result of research one, we tested a mediation model which prolong control deprivation can impact increasing inclination of secondary control, through the mediation of order seeking or order confirmation decline. We also applied the task of figure out the concept like as research one to two groups, after primed by the task, all subiects should answer questionnaire testing their order confirmation, order seeking, as well as a situational test measuring their inclination to use secondary control. Correlation analyses showed that order confirmation didn’t correlate with secondary control, while control deprivation, order seeking, secondary control correlated with each other, so we can explore the mediating effect between the three. According to this, prolong control deprivation can notably reverse predict order seeking and predict secondary control, when the dependent variable is secondary control, order seeking can attenuate control deprivation’s prediction of secondary control, but still notable. In addition, order seeking can notably reverse predict secondary control, which prove that order seeking partly mediated the effect of prolong control deprivation to secondary control. Finally, theoretical and practical value of this paper was discussed, and the limitations of this research and research orientation were provided.
