The Influence Of Differential Of Interpersonal Relationships On Individual Empathy Effect

Interpersonal relations as a unique phenomenon in the human society, often affected various aspects related to the people in our daily life.1980s, Mr. Fei proposed the concept of "the pattern of difference sequence". He argues that social structure Chinese in traditional society and interpersonal relationship has the characteristics of differential. This difference will affect the individual emotional arousal. According to the theory of perspective taking, people in the emotional experience of themselves and others to produce both in common will also have difference. Previous research on the status of self and other emotional empathy for a lot of behavior or brain imaging (fMRI) analysis, and for those familiar with others (related to himself) and strange others (has nothing to do with himself) empathy differences between research is less. Especially the research on time characteristics of the neural mechanisms of emotional empathy is lack of. Therefore, this study use the Chinese interpersonal relationship "the pattern of difference sequence" characteristics as a point, with affective priming paradigm. To examine the influence of interpersonal relationship characteristics of individual emotional empathy level, under the positive and negative affective priming and different types of negative emotion priming.This study includes two experiments. The first experiment using2(emotions:positive/negative) x3(interpersonal relationship types:family/friends/strangers) within the subjects of design of experiment. Study on the effect of different types of interpersonal relationships individual level of empathy, under the positive emotion and negative emotion priming. The second experiment using3(emotions: anger/pain/fear) x3(interpersonal relationship types: family/friends/strangers) of the subjects in experimental design, aims to examine different types of relationships affect individual empathy, under the different types of negative emotions priming. The whole research using event related brain potentials (ERPs) technology, investigation the emotional empathy behavior data, at the same time, the time performance of individual cognitive processing brain activity neural mechanisms are analyzed. Data statistics with SPSS19.0, the main methods are mean analysis, variance analysis and simple effect analysis and so on.The main conclusions are as follows:Firstly, under different titer mood priming, individual level of empathy is affected by the characteristics of difference of interpersonal relations:under positive emotion priming, compared with friends and strangers, family induced by individual degree of empathy is bigger, the difference is significant;under negative emotion priming, the empathy effect on family and friends is better than strangers, but no significant difference between family and friends. Reflected in the individual’s emotional empathy, obvious effect on the friends of the level of empathy situational conditions.Secondly, under different types of negative emotions priming, compared with a stranger, the empathy effect to friends and family is stronger, and have reached significant difference level, especially under the fear and pain mood priming. Show that under different negative disposition condition, condition of individual emotional empathy is more affected by the characteristics of negative emotions.
