Protection And Development Of Prehistorical E Arthen Sites In South Area

The protection and development of earthen sites is a hot topic that was put forward recently on cultural relic protection domain. Compared with mature protection and development system of earthen sites in north area, those in south area is in a development stage.For this reason, this article takes the prehistorical earthen sites in south area as research object on the basis of theoretical and practical researches on sites protection and development at home and abroad. Through the detailed analysis of planning on protection and development for Chengtoushan Site, comprehensively compared with ways of protection and development for other prehistorical earthen sites in south area, the author tries to find a protection and development mode which is suit for prehistorical earthen sites in south area.The opening chapter of this article is Introduction, its main contents include: state the reasons of choosing this topic; introduce the site and related definitions of archaeology about earthen sites; conclude basic theories and main modes of site protection and development at home and abroad; explain the research object and method used in this article.The next chapter starts to discuss the ways of protection and utilization of prehistorical earthen sites in south area with the key point of "Construction and Planning of Chengtoushan".This chapter can be divided into three parts:Introduction to Site, Brief to Planning, Deficiency and Improvement.The Introduction to Site briefly introduces the situation of site protectorate from environment, component, brief history of protection and other aspects; the Brief to Planning focuses on the entire distribution, function division, relevant policy and application of fund; and the planning defects found in the analysis procedure are discussed in Deficiency and Improvement.Chapter Three is the focus of this article. By studying on the planning of protection and development of Chengtoushan Site and other prehistorical earthen sites in south area, a set of mode will be proposed. Compared with other modes of protection and development, this mode’s particularities are, first taking consideration of climatic features in south area and structural features of earthen sites themselves, the ways of protection are pointed; next, for the simple exterior and poor ornamental value of prehistorical sites, this mode vividly displays the prehistorical sites and theirs culture connotation; at last, a single part discusses the construction of site park in the area of prehistorical earthen sites.Finally the conclusion part of this article combs the writing structure of this article again, meanwhile puts forward the deficiencies which will be further improved in the future.
