Metaphorical Meaning Of Text Research On "Transparent Carrot"

Mo Yan’s novel "Transparent Carrot" is a typical metaphorical literary text．Thetitle "transparent carrot" is a marked metaphorical code．The codes " radish"，"red"and "transparent" distribute among the chapters．The Title and chapters form amapping relation．And the title reveal chapter’s topic which is the core code oftext．The text is a closed system．According to the theory of Structural Semantics andcontext， we analyze the metaphor meaning of the core code．According to themethod of catalysis，we import the time，space，figure，event category，analyze themetaphor meaning of the code associated with the core code and the semantic relationof them to get the deep semantic structure of text．On the basis of the above studies，we discuss the principle of textual metaphor，and try to find a way to analysis oftextual metaphor.
