First, originated in the Neolithic age,"nature worship" is the collective religion behavior with the universality. Climate and geography are important objective factors which cause "nature worship", the hilly terrain and the variable changing climate make people doubt, panic and fear. They regard all natural objects and forces as the apotheosis object with the life, will and ability, which is "nature worship". Second,"Gods" is the mapping of natural phenomena in the human brain, such as hurricane, lightning, flood, storm, etc. the mapping things have big differences between reality, but the basic outline do not change, which is the key reason why all gods in Jiuge and normal people have the same morphology, sex, thoughts and emotions, so as the same form and nature of god and men in the eastern and western mythology and the god and witch worship whose core is the forces of nature worship consciousness. Taking "Memorial" and "Shan Gui" for example, the article comes to the argument that "Memorial" and "Shan Gui" are the poetic expression of the close connections of Chu people’s world (natural) view and view of life and death (flesh). In the end, there are many gods and spirits spawned by "nature worship", and the wizard, as the angel to communicate the world with the plane, has presided over the size of the imperial cult for a long time with the prestige supreme. Chu is far away from the central plains, but witchcraft still prevails. Based on the records in the Shan Hai Jing, this chapter digs deeper into the connections between the southern massive ancient witchery culture and the "nature worship" and indicates that the witchery culture and the distinct national character in Chu ritual actually are influenced by the consciousness of "nature worship" deeply.
