Existentialism appeared in Modern Literature in large numbers is an important literary phenomenon, but also a manifestation of modernity. This paper mainly from four aspects to illustrate his poems to show the existence of consciousness:combined with the era background, talk about Mu Dan’s situation in his life; He expressed in his poems are discussed the existence of individual life, which exists in the personal experience, loneliness, anxiety, deceived; Digging in his poems show about the change of the way of death; Then the paper is written by mu Dan on the choice on the road of life, and his pursuit of freedom and responsibility.Having a more detailed analysis on Mu Dan’s consciousness of the existence, highlighting the unique connotation of Mu Dan’s spirit, this is the significance of this thesis, combined Mu Dan’s creativity with background and Western literary trends, Thus we can recognize Chinese and non-Chinese resistance of the artistic concept of Mu Dan, and then exploring the significance of the pursuit of value of human life and the reflections on existence of the world.
