Research On The Jin Opera Performing Artists--NiuGuiying

Niu Guiying, who is a Jin opera famous performing artist, reformed and innovated the Jin opera of female roles.She created her own style and made great achievements. This paper studies Niu Guiyin’s characteristics g from three aspects:the tune of singing, the spoken parts of Jin opera, the arts of performing.Jin opera has been complimented on singing loudly and sonorously, Niu Guiying transformed the defects of the tune of singing. She used nasal resonance and middle pitch ingeniously, and the tune of singing has become a melodious and graceful feature. Furthermore, Niu Guiying carried out the traditional tune of "ayiyahahai ", moved Jin opera toward standardization. Her tune become mellow and clear by word line cavity with feeling. She put the run chamber sound such as "portamento","tremolo" etc. to the cavity group for drawl, which made Jin opera be standardization.It is known that JinJu actors spoken parts are orderless and non-standardized. Niu Guiying combines the standard Chinese Phonetic Alphabet and Shanxi dialect "Pentatonic word tune", which comes to a new formation. The spoken parts of Niu Guiying are clear, forceful with a kind of fresh and natural beauty. This kind not only made JinJu be full with local charm, but also be accepted by visitors in other places, which provides a broad mass base for the development and prosperity of JinJu.Emotional expression is the life and soul of the opera art. Theimage of the shape of the characters of Niu Guiying is mainly tepid,full of feeling. When Niu Guiying created art images, she grasped thedegree and thought from the perspective of the audience. She putherself in the storyline, and tried to express as the characters byunderstanding the Age, identity, context of the roles in order topositioning typical characters in environment typical environmentand grasping the character’s inner world. Niu Guiying tried to interpretthe character’s inner world with real sentiments and passion andcreated stage images which come from life and are higher than life.In addition, this paper studies Niu Guiying from other four facets:acting career, traditional playbills, causes of style, talents training, inorder to give an comprehensive and fair evaluation to this prominentartist, and set an example and provide a wholesome reference toother following people in artistry, spirit and idea.
