Xiao Qian is a liberalism intellectual, this identity deeplyreflected in his novels. This thesis mainly studys the novel of XiaoQian’s in thirties to comprehensively combine the identity changesof the narrator in the novel and its aesthetic implication. To explorethe profound reasons behind the changing, so that can reveal theoverall condition of Xiao Qian’s novel creation and thoughts. Thethesis have a comprehensive view which can show the unique valueof the identity changes of the novel narrator in the modern Chineseliterature.Taking different narrator as clues, the thesis can be divided intothree parts.
