Materials Design Of Teaching Ideology Of The Mencius For Overseas Learners

It has already become the consensus of the academic that the TCSL must import the Chinese culture in the teaching. Chinese language fever is constantly on the rise since the Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms were established more and more abroad.After refer to the Confucianism, Many able men point out that Confucian thoughts can help solve a lot of mental problems of human beings.To import the Confucian thoughts in the teaching has become imperative.Therefore, this paper discusses how to teach foreign students "the Ethical Thought of the Mencius".The paper consists of five parts.The first part, it is a summary of Chinese cultural teaching, cultural contents compiled in foreign Chinese teaching materials and International Confucian Studies. Pointed out that the teaching of thoughts of the Mencius is very important in TCSL. It also contributes to the spread of Chinese culture in the world.The second part, described the main ethical thoughts in "the Mencius" one by one. To implement kindheartedness for oneself, families, others and the environment. Only to keep benevolence and righteousness in one’s heart can someone be succeed."Four-terminal" endows someone benevolence, righteousness, etiquette and wisdom from inward, and impact outward. It is one kind of success on the way to be a sage. Self-cultivate with morals will bring happiness from inward and will not be disturbed. Confidence and courage originate from noble spirit. Sincerity can make the world be harmonious."Introspection" and "Concentration" is the key attitude of success.The third part, described the design of teaching materials in "the Mencius". Mainly to solve what ideas in "the Mencius" can be compiled into textbooks and how to compile them, in the primary, intermediate or advanced books. At last, work out the full class teaching materials.Part IV, mainly discuss instructional design about the thoughts of "the Mencius" in Chinese cultural class. Design a teaching plan about "Sincerity" for senior cultural studies.Part V, mainly expound activity design in Confucius Institute about topic of "the Mencius". Provide the text of the speech on thoughts of "the Mencius".Append experience link about typical sentences of "Mencius" in ways such as elocnte intonation and debate.The innovation of this paper is that proposed four-terminal as the genetic value of the ethic.
