Xun County was said Li In the Shang Dynasty, and set up county in the Western Han Dynasty. It is well-known for its longevity and culture. It was also named state-listed historical cultural city, the hometown of Chinese folk art, the China national folk culture protection pilot and Henan culture advanced counties. The first Chinese Confucian business is Duanmu, whose hometown is here. Xun County has distinguishing features by Confucian business culture represented by the Duanmu, cultural tourism represented by the Dapi Mountain and Fuqiu Mountain, folk art represented by the stone carving,clay sculpture and ancient pottery. In the recent years, Xun County develops the cultural industries as an important support to promote the county economy based on these resources. Relying on Folk Artists, performances places of interest, cultural engineering construction,creating valuable brands, developing types of culture industry, Xun County gradually formes the culture industry development pattern by those cultural elements.In2008, Xun County was defined as the Henan cultural restructuring and Development pilot area by Henan Henan province. Now, the overall thought of Xun County was Based on the ancient temple fair and arts, combing folk art,development of the tourism handicraft industry and creating folk culture pilot area. Cultural industry was highly valued and was listed in the overall development plan in the County. In2013, the cultural industry employees were48000people, increasing14percent and implemented the added value of5.75million yuan, increasing12percent. Howerer, Xun County culture industry development still exists many problems. For example, the development of cultural industrialization consciousness is not strong. Market-oriented management level is not high. The degree of formalization is low. It also has little policy support to cultural enterprises.Present situation of the development of cultural industry research has many benefits. The potential for the development of cultural industry will be further tapped. The development of cultural industry problems will be solved and the cultural industry of Xun County will be developed rapidly. Moreover, the cultural industry has become a new economic growth point. The Integration of culture and economy will promote coordinated economic and social development in Xun County. The thesis will be divided into three parts. Firstly, this chapter will introduce the present situation of the development of cultural industry in Xun County. Secondly, this thesis will elaborate the advantages and the disadvantages of cultural industry in Xun County. Thirdly, some countermeasures and suggestions will be presented to the development of cultural industry in Xun County. My investigation aims to conclude that the local government should transform the cultural function, deepen cultural restructuring, pay more attention to cultural key projects, strengthen the research on the development strategy of culture, create a positive environment for the development of cultural industries, protect and excavate the rich historical and cultural resources, widen the channel for investment and financing, strengthen cultural infrastructure, increase the level of scale, intensive and specialization of cultural industries.
