A Study On Green Consumption From The Perspective Of Environmental Ethics

Until it brought human survival crisis by environment problem seriously, it didn’t realized theimportance of protecting the environment. Only change the way of human lifestyles and consumption, tomaintain the sustainable and healthy development of the environment. Green consumption, emerged asthe increasing deterioration of natural environment and the change of human consumption, is anew kind of consumption idea and way of life. Researches on green consumption are widelyinvolved in academia fields, however, this paper aims to study green consumption from theperspective of environmental ethics, which is intended to point out that environmental ethicshave certain constraints and guiding functions on green consumption, and on the other hand, theimprovement of green consumption theory also brings meaningfulness and values to thedevelopment of environmental ethics. This paper, based on the theory of environmental ethics,attempts to study green consumption with the method of literature, comparison, syntheticdiscipline and theory with practice.The thesis is divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction, including the purposeand significance of the topic selection, research situation at home and abroad, research methodsand innovations. The second part is the introduction of related contents, which includes theconcept of green consumption and its characteristics and significance, and the generation anddevelopment of environmental ethics and its genre. The third part is environmental ethicalanalysis of green consumption.the relationship between environmental ethics and greenconsumption. The humanistic and equal and development of environmental ethics provideethical guidance. Green consumption reflected the natural value and rights of environmentalethics.Green consumption admit that nature has intrinsic value and the right to life. The fourthpart is the problem of green consumption in our country and ethical reasons, focusing on theproblem of green consumption in our country and ethical reasons. The fifth part is the pathselection to strengthen environmental ethics practice of green consumption, emphasizing on theway of green consumption practice in our country, which is of great significance and value tothe improvement of practical ability of green consumption in China and the whole progress ofhuman civilization. By strengthening propaganda and education, making public life standardand practice pattern, improving the governmental involvement and perfecting the legal systemconstruction of green consumption in our country, the popularization of green consumption inChina will be realized.
