The conjunction word "suoyi shuo" structure has a high frequency of use in both written and spoken Chinese language. While it is simple in structure, it has more complex nature. In the specific using,this word not only involves the problem of "shuo"’s grammaticalization, but also always considered it has a equal function with "suoyi" and can easily exchange. Those problem bases on a less knowledge of the word. So, how to explore the characteristics of "suoyi shuo" and serve for the Teaching Chinese as a foreign language is the purpose of this study lies. Grasping the characteristics, using the contrast methods, this paper gives description of "suoyi shuo"and "suoyi"on their position in a clause and association role, then shows their differences which make "suoyi shuo’"s characteristics more outstanding. Meanwhile, the article will give detailed description on the discourse functions and pragmatic functions of suoyi shuo". On the basis of a detailed analysis of "suoyi shuo"’s features in all aspects, this article analyze the bias of the use of suoyi shuo". Thus hoping to raise more reasonable teaching strategies and ideas, providing some positive effect on the Teaching Chinese as a foreign language in conjunction words "suoyi shuo"’s learning.This article is divided into the following six sections:Chapter one is the introduction, describes the purpose and significance of the topic, and the research status and corpus sources.Chapter two is the study of "suoyi shuo’"s grammaticalization, focus on the description of the locus of "shuo’"s blurring.Chapter three is the positions and of "suoyi" and "suoyi shuo"The differences of their association role are concluded based on the elaborate description of the two words.Chapter four is the analysis of the functions of suoyi shuo". Detailed description will be discussed by two parts:discourse functions and pragmatic functions.Chapter five is the teaching ideas of suoyi shuo". Biased are analyzed in the foundation of corpus, thus teaching ideas are put forward on the basis of its characteristicsChapter six is the conclusion. The author conducted a review of the full text, pointing out their deficiencies and future research directions.
