The article first expounds the application principles of the skin texture in thecontemporary fine brush works, and then leads to its formal connotation as well as the valueof skin texture language in the fine brush works creation. The thesis is divided into three parsto discuss the new special painting knowledge in detail. The first chapter states the applicationprinciples of skin texture language in the contemporary fine brush works. First, this chapterexpounds that skin texture language is a kind of form language. Then it points out that skintexture language expresses artists’emotion and artistic personality. Finally the paper stressesthat artists must use skin texture language appropriately to avoid abusing skin texture blindly.In the second part, the author analyzes the formal connotation of skin texture language in thecontemporary fine brush works, which is the key part. First, the author introduces theconnotation of painting texture. Then, with the method of image analysis, the paper choosesthe contemporary fine brush works, which utilizes the skin texture representatively, to discussthe diversity of form connotation of skin texture language in the contemporary fine brushworks. In the third chapter, the author states the value of skin texture language in thecontemporary fine brush works combining with design practice. Then it is pointed out thatskin texture language not only promotes and innovates the contemporary fine brush work butalso it injects new idea and times spirit to the fine brush works.In a word, the skin texture language has irreplaceable sense to study and research thecontemporary fine brush works, and it enlightens the creation of contemporary fine brushworks too. Therefore, the research significance is extended of this study.
