The article is divided into four chapters to explain the charm of the photo-realismpainting art and tell us about its formation and development in china. The first chapter ismainly talk readers about the background of the photo-realism painting and its artisticideas.At the same time, the author analyze the detailed information and evolution aboutphoto-realism representative painter Chuck Close’s works and his artistic development.The second chapter began to focus on the native Chinese localization of thephoto-realism style paintings. Through the analysis of the first photo-realism paintingsgenerating in the Chinese art historical background, expound the Chinese representativepainter of photo-realism style, Luo Zhongli’s oil-painting "father" and Guang Ting Bo’swork " steel sweat".They show the earlier and preliminary development ofphoto-realism painting with Chinese own characteristics. Secondly, the passage analyzedand introduced the artist Shi Chong’s art creating style. Then, we know Shi Chong alwaysunify the Device Art, Behavior and Make-up Art ingeniously into together withphoto-realism visual expression and paint the contemporary art works with conceptualviews. At the same time, the article also introduces the art creation works about Chinesesuper-realism artist Leng Jun, who are similar to Shi Chong’s art creating ways. The thirdchapter mainly based on Chinese artists Xu Weixin, Zhang Xiaogang, and Qi Zhilong.They use black and white old photos on the historical practice of contemporary artcreation, and it was analyzed in the context of contemporary photo-realism style paintingare influenced on contemporary artists and their inspiration. The photo-realism stylepainting has Chinese own characteristics and it has been further development intwenty-first Century in China. The last chapter mainly elaborates the appeal of realistic oil-painting and shows the author is love to paint the realistic oil-painting and to studymaster painting works and experience. The author also shows his artistic pursuit andobjectives in the realistic oil painting creation. The conclusion part is thinking andlooking forward to the new photo-realism style painting in the future development.
