The Anti-Christian Movement of1922-1927, which lasted six years, large scale, widescope, deep impact. It is a major event in the history of Christianity,especially the nationalchurch reform has a significant influence in the development of Christianity of China and hasthe important influence in modern and contemporary Chinese history.The perspective of The Anti-Christian Movement centered on the English magazine“TheChinese Recorder”in this paper. During The Anti-Christian Movement,“The ChineseRecorder” published a lot of articles wrote by missionaries, which indirectly present TheAnti-Christian Movement in westerners’ eye. By analyzing the article can conclude that thechurch has its own understanding of the movement about it’s reason, solution and evaluation.Although the campaign brought damage of Christianity and its ministries, the church has arelatively objective and rational attitude toward the motion. They think that Christianity havebeen criticized because the conflicts between Christianity and Chinese society.
