The Analysis Of Dora Bella’s Character Features And Arias Of Mozart’s Opear 《Cosi Fan Tutti》

"Cosi fan tutte" is the creation of Mozart’s comic opera in his later period. And it isalso the third opera that accomplished by both Mozart and Lorenzo Da Ponte. In theplay, the philosopher holds a test aim at two sisters and their fiancé in order to explorehow faithful women could be and whether the vows of affection could be trust. Shallmen believe them or not? The farce ends up with a happy ending. Some people at thattime (including Beethoven and Bernard Shaw) felt unsatisfied with the title andcontent. However, from the perspective of modern musicians nowadays, they canobserve the artistic value of this opera through the cynical attitude of storyline.This paper was divided into three chapters to do the research on Dora Bella’s figureand arias. The first chapter introduces the career of Mozart and his comic opera " Cosifan tutte ". The second chapter does researches on features of Dora Bella(MezzoSoprano) and vision of love of Beethoven. The third chapter is to analysis the DoraBella’s two arias "enthusiasm that difficult to calm" and "love is a thief" and todiscuss the singing techniques.The soul of Mozart’s masterpieces has always been sensitive, delicate, childlike,sometimes exciting and tender, but is always harmonious, warm, and sincere.Rachmaninoff said, sincerity is the most valuable quality of art. Any aria of Mozart’sworks has some noble temperament, pure and sincere feelings. In this paper, theexamples demonstrate that this study will help improve the the ability of vocalperformance of " Cosi fan tutte "aria. The author sincerely want to replenish theinadequate materials at the present stage.
