With the deterioration of the environment, the meaning of protecting environment haswidely accepted. Human plays an important role in environmental conservation, we shouldexplore reasons and methods about protecting environment from the aspect of human life. Inpsychology, there already had many hypothesis and theories. Because environmentalprotection involving conflict between present and future,individual and others, so people’ stime perspective and values have great influence on how to considerate those conflicts, thenwill alter there environmental attitude.According to these theoretical basis, in this research, we need to explore the relationshipbetween time perspective, value and environmental attitude, and we also need to know howthe value moderator the relationship between time perspective and environmental attitude.Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory, Consideration of Future Consequences Scale, NewEnvironmental Paradigm Scale, Individualism and Collectivism Scale were used as researchtools in this study.400undergraduates of Hebei Normal University were measured. In thefirst step, we examined the reliability and validity of4scales; Then presented the descriptiveconsequences of4scales and analyzed the interdependency between dependent variable andindependent variables. The moderating effect was analyzed in the last step. Spss20.0wasused in this research. Based on the sample data:(1)Different time perspective has different relationship with environmental attitude.(2)Different dimension of value orientation has the same relationship with environmentalattitude.(3)Value orientation will moderator the relationship between time perspective andenvironmental attitude.
