Research On Ye Jiaoran’s Long Xingtang Shi Hua

Since Northern Song Dynasty, poetical talks are standing in the literature wordwith a unique stylistic. Qing Dynasty is the peak of poetical creation, Poetry talkstudy has become a trend, which are coming to the fore in Chinese academic circles.The research form is emerging in an endless stream, there are three kinds of methods,they are case study, monographic study and inter-disciplinary research.This thesis studied Ye Jiaoran’s Long Xingtang Shi Hua from four areas:The first chapter of the thesis is Ye Jiao ran and the feature of Long Xingtang ShiHua: Firstly, which makes simple introduction on the poetic theorist Ye Jiaoran’spersonal information, such as the deeds, the life and his friends; Secondly, whichrefines and discusses the poetic language and poetic thoughts of Long Xingtang ShiHua.The second chapter of the thesis is the poetics of Long Xingtang Shi Hua: Thetheoretical perspectives of the poetry itself are very numerous, which mainly focus onthree aspects: the poem should not only be shaped in style but also be concentrated onits central thoughts, poet’s feeling and character are closely linked together and putforward the difficulty in writing poetry.The third chapter of the thesis is the study on Long Xingtang Shi Hua: Ye Jiaorandiscussed the artistic conception of writing poetry, but also learned the ancients, aswell as advocated that writing poetry should exhibit its identities. And what’s more,the writing poetry has to be row and cooked, then cooked in the remaining.The fourth chapter of the thesis is the value and influence of Long Xingtang ShiHua: Ye Jiaoran doesn’t only praise previous master poets like Dufu and Sushi, butalso those are not frequently mentioned like Lin Kuan in Dang Dynasty, played adeposit poem Poetry depositary functions. Which also, in Long Xingtang Shi Hua,which comes up with some phenomena that unreasonable evaluation of Du’s poemand detates on it, then illustrates his own opinion.By reading Long Xingtang Shi Hua, I realize that it is of great importance in theChinese poetry history, though it is not paid enough attention in academia, it is highlyvalued in poetical talks, therefore, we should study it with great concentration.
