The Study On Translating Literary Theories In China Since The New Period

Since the new period, with the enhancement of the country’s comprehensive national strength, the career of translating literary theories in China has made great achievements. This thesis has regarded "translating literary theories in China since the new period" as the object of study, and investigated the existential state of translating literary theories in China since the new period. The article is divided into five parts, they are:The first part is an introduction section. In this part, the author has introduced the purpose and significance of this thesis, and summarized the current status of academic research on translating literary theories, and then pointed out the innovations of this thesis.The second part is the re-start of translating literary theories (1978-1989). The author has combed the development of the western literary criticism such as the Psychoanalysis, Phenomenology, New criticism and so on in this ten years, and then pointed out characteristics and problems in the1980s.The third part is the diversification of translating literary theories (1989-1999). The author has discussed from the social background in the1990s, and then analyzed the acceptable situation of translating literary theories in our country. At last, the author summarized the characteristics, the existing problems and enlightenments which translating literary theories have been faced during this period.The fourth part is the construction of translating literary theories (1999-2012). In this part, the author has focused on the "cultural turn" in western academe, analyzed the situation and the characteristics of translating literary theories since the new century, and then summed up problems and enlightenments which translating literary theories exist in the current.The fifth part is the epilogue. At this part, the author has taken the "Poly-system theory" and "Traveling theory" point of view as cuts, pointed out the status that western translating literary theories have been in China. At last, the author has put forward his opinions to solve the problems which translating literary theories have been up against.
