In the late1980s of Chinese literary, avant-garde literature oath to be the pure literature which is "back to literature itself" by form innovation and content exploration. But, when this literary trend meets the end, today’s literature just moves towards to the opposite side of "pure" literature. It is constantly being marginalized in the process of seeking the possibility of marriage with reality, and fostering the consumers. This work studies and reflects on the phenomenon, and reveals the production process of avant-garde literature. The "pure" literature is not pure. It is quite productive, and is produced by the age and a group of people. Specifically, through the cultural production cycle suggested by representation theory of Hall, this study reveals that avant-garde literature appears in specific historical environment, spreads under the resultant force of authors, editors and critics, and completes canonization with the help of<Shou Huo>. To achieve this, centered on<Shou Huo> which plays an important role on production of avant-garde literature, this study analyzes the letters, interviews, essays and memoirs among authors, editors and critics. It is isomorphic with the production and dissemination of a piece of news, an ad, a book, a cultural phenomenon and a kind of social ideological trend. So based on the hypocrisy of pure literature,it is not hard to see the paradox of back to the literature. Therefore, today’s literature only goes along the contrary to the pure literature, goes deep into the inside of social life, becomes the carrier of all kinds of relations and situations of all kinds of conflict, Literary/cultural can regain strength and make a difference.
