| Yan Yangchu has far-reaching effects not only on the modern China,but alsothe world. Since the1920s, he initiated sexual ground to set off a civilian educationand rural reform, developing the rural China, committed to improving the ruralenvironment, improving the scientific culture quality of the farmer, to a large extentrevolutionized Chinese society especially the rural social style, promoted themodernization process of China.Not only that, he also went out of the country,extended the transformation of the rural face to more than40countries and regionsin Asia, Africa and Latin America, promoting the rural productivity, thedevelopment of medical and health services, and improved people’s mentel outlook.On Yan Yangchu, previous studies mainly focus on its populace educationthoughts and the theory of rural construction, but not from the modern perspectiveof his deeds and contribution. In the evaluation, it tends to be as reformismappellation. There is no doubt that Yan Yangchu’s thoughts and practice sincemodern times is in an attempt to explore the right way, and it did promot China’smodernization pace. In view of that, this article tries to reexamine Yan Yangchu’sthought and practice from the perspective of modernization. Not only reveal themodernization thought of personal factors, social and historical conditions,but alsogeneralize the the thoughts and practices of his modernization, from thepolitical,economic and human modernization. On this basis, evaluation andevaluations of Yan Yangchu’s modernization thoughts can be made. |
