Study On National Governance Thoughts In Ancient China And Modernization Of National Governance

The traditional state governance thoughts in China is consist of Confucianism Governance thoughts of Kingship,Legalism Governance thoughts of Hegemonic and Taoism Governance thoughts of heaven organically. As the core of Chinese culture,Confucianism,Legalism and Taoism,which not only profoundly has shaped the national character of Chinese in politics,culture,and psychology,but constructed framework of traditional state governance.Based on the idea of "social man" theory of human nature,Confucianism Governance thoughts of Kingship advocates moral politics,which looks Individual,family and country as a whole,stressing the importance of individuals who has good temper of "benevolence". The core concepts of Confucianism governance thoughts are internal saint and external king,benevolent and virtuous governance,benevolent government, rule of virtue and Rule of rite.Based on the idea of "utility man" theory of human nature,Legalism Governance thoughts advocates "hegemony" politics,which people are facing competition for profits between each other,thus,only by strength and power can generate the order. Based on the idea of "natural man" theory of human nature,Taoism Governance thoughts of heaven advocates heaven politics,maintaining the natural simplicity of nature in man,diminishing external forces,emphasizing the function of inaction.Since the formation of the pe-Qin Dynasty,through 2000 years of imperial national integration and practice,Confucianism Governance thoughts of Kingship,Legalism Governance thoughts of Hegemonic and Taoism Governance thoughts of heaven have enriched the state governance thoughts and enhanced the level of governance standards.In the current promotion of state governance modernization process,we should pay attention to the function of traditional culture in stability,on other hand,we must note that the traditional culture had held back modernization process.After all,we should improve governance capabilities and enhance the level of governance capabilities in the view of traditional state governance thoughts.
