Therefore, under the current development of the democracy trend, promotes frontier minority citizens’ political participation, our country has become one of the goal of the development of modern political systems. But analysis the actual present situation of the political participation in the frontier minority areas, the ethnic minorities political participation are faced with the problem is quiet complex and serious. The ethnic minority citizens’ political participation paces up and down between indifferent political action and radical political action in the frontier national regions. The ethnic minorities are also vulnerable to suffer the inciting of the reactionary forces both at home and abroad, which may cause the risk of ethnic separatism. Therefore, under the general principle of promoting ethnic minority citizens’ political participation, we should avoid to form the ethnic interest groups with the units of ethnic minorities in the aspects of institutional arrangements and specific policy.
