We also constructindependent, professional, authoritative third party mediation mechanism and improvemediation process effective solution to medical disputes and strengthen preventive ability fordisputes,which is the important theoretical and the practical significance to the construction ofa harmonious relationship between doctors and patients, and promote the healthy developmentof the cause of medical treatment in our country.This is also the efficient way to solve themedical disputes. From the current situation of the implementation of this work,but,there havebeen some problems in the actual operation process. Summarize some experience anddeficiency of the third party mediation model in typical demonstration role. improvement andadjustment based on orderly promotion is also necessary. To play the third party’s importantrole that it is neutral, professional in mediation process and to show advantage of short time inmediation process.Improving the authority of mediation and establishing the preventionmechanism about medical dispute and other issues is needed to solve the problem of mediationin the third party.Firstly, this article talk about the current characteristics and situation of doctor-patientdispute in China.Secondly, the author summarize several main models of third party mediationabout medical dispute.We also summarize some achievements obtained and existing problemsby the work of the third party mediation of medical dispute. Finally,we should put forward the proposal of mediation by the third party such asestablishing examinative mechanism of medical dispute,establishing the research institutionsdoctor-patient dispute,improving mechanism of the medical insurance, creating the linkagemechanism of mediate,enhancing the construction of relevant laws and regulations etc.
