Hezhe nationality is one of six small ethnic groups in our country, and also the unique minorities in Heilongjiang Province. They left rich brilliant national culture in a long historical evolution process. This is not only the wealth of the Hezhe nationality, but also a precious cultural heritage of the motherland. Hezhe people thrive in the middle and lower reaches of Heilong River, and the river Valley of Songhua River and Wusuli River from generation to generation, this unique geographical position creates the national material culture and spiritual culture of Hezhe nationality, which are characterized by fishing and hunting culture. And spirit culture is the essence of national culture, the symbol of national wisdom, the crystallization of national spirit, can be showed out through the creation and the spirit of the nation spiritual culture, and can profoundly reflect the national spirit and national characteristics mainly. Hezhe nationality cultural content mainly includes the folk religion, folk literature, folk art, folk sports, entertainment and local customs and habits, etc. Hezhe nationality has language but has no words, coupled with the rapid development of economy and the acceleration of modernization process, many aspects of the spirit culture of Hezhe nationality are facing disappears, so protecting and inheriting the spirit culture is very necessary and urgent.From the perspective of ideological and political education discipline, this article takes the spirit of the Hezhe nationality culture as the starting point, discuss from the following five aspects. In a word, as a kind of education resources,the Hezhe nationality spiritual culture plays an important role to carry forward the national culture spirit and promote culture identity. Analysis on the protection and inheritance of the spirit culture, not only beneficial to the rescue and the inheritance of excellent cultural of Hezhe nationality, but also beneficial to protect ethnic outstanding traditional culture and maintaining cultural diversity.
