Contemporary China has a great opportunity of development while facing manydifficulties. Chinese society since the Opium War has been in a state of transition ofspiritual values. The old spiritual ones have been broken, while new ones have notestablished yet. There is no respect for nature or religion and the spiritual beliefsappear empty.Needless to say, this is a transitional state with social confusion and disorientation.People feel a mental disorder.
