The African development way is very rough, and now the development of Africacoruscate vigor again. Around the development of Africa experience, academic andpolicy circles have a heated argument, concentrated around what is internal orexternal fundamentally determines the phenomenon. It must be admitted that, purelyinternal cause theory or theory of external cause is biased, and the combinationof both for theoretical explanation is not convincing. The author hold the opinionthat newly emerging“Development—Security Nexus” theory can effectively improvethe theory tenuity.“Development-Security Nexus” theory is about the differentcombination and effect of domestic economic development concerns and outsideinterests concern, thereby producing countries in Africa with three differentdevelopment path selection: development first, safety first, or try to achievedevelopment and security balance and swinging. The three way of choice in Africaare clearly reflected. For the appearance of internal and external factors withdifferent effects, based on the economic structure, resource endowment, thenational strategic position and other basic feature similarity, taking Nigeria,Angola and Sudan as a case study, in order to observe the internal and externalfactors of different tissues to have similar basic features of Africa ’s developmentway choice influence, and lead entirely different developmental consequences. Thearticle holds the idea that still at a relatively low level of economic developmentof countries in Africa, the priority development road is perhaps more suitable. It requires that countries in Africa to adhere to the development of foreignpriority, to find more partners to alleviate the one-way dependent; in view of this,China also needs to uphold the development of first thought, and Africa shared theexperience of China’s development, promotion China-Africa relations of sustainabledevelopment.
