Safety is the first need of human survival and food is the material foundation of human survival, under the background of economic globalization, food safety has become an internationalization issue, which is not only related to people’s health safety but also related to the healthy development of a country’s economic and social harmony. China as the most populous countries in world, food safety seems to be especially important. This article based on the current situation of the food safety legal system, through the foreign developed countries and some provinces and cities in China with successful legislative experience and regulatory research, aimed at the difficulties and problems of food safety supervision in Gansu Province in accord with local reality, operable without upper wears manner in Supervision system consistent regulatory learn on how to improve and perfect local food safety legal system and to think some recommendations.The main section in this paper is divided into four parts.The first chapter starting from the concept and basic connotation of food safety, than talking about of China’s food safety legal system, search for the existence faultiness and the problem.The second chapter talking about of The importance of food safety problems in China, the Highlight the "food safety law" in the practical application of the problem,to analyze the necessity and the present situation of food safety local legislation.The third chapter is inspect on the United States, Britain, European Union, Japan and other developed countries of food safety legislation pattern and the characteristics of food safety legislation, find out some successful experience and advanced practice.The fourth chapter start on the basis of the analysis of food safety in Gansu province and local legislation, through learning from the successful experience of domestic and international food safety legislation, to think about how to improve and perfect the food safety of legal system and do local legislation, than make some targeted and practical proposals.
