3D visualization is a inevitable trend in the development of digital mine today.Compare with the traditional geology research method in the plane of the two-dimensional,3D visualization can present geological entities directly by using computer simulation technology, thus integrated use of geostatistics, entity content analysis and spatial information management method to study the geological entities physical and chemical properties and geometry morphology.Inland3D visualization technology is immature with a late start, but has been widely used in the mining industry. By collecting the geological data of Lala copper deposits, article set up3D models using DIMIEN three-dimensional software. On this basis, analyzing the spatial relationships of structures and finding out the spatial distribution and relationship with the structure of the main elements. The main results are as follows:(1) Collecting the all drill data of Lala copper deposits, finally get772effective drills where25629copper samples,13048Co samples,12820Mo samples,11394TFe samples. On this base, building the mine geological databases.(2) For the first time to establish the surface and building models and geological entities models within the X coordinate form494200to496200, Y coordinate form2901200to2902800,vertical from the surface to1600m.This provide a convenient way for the subsequent management of the mine.(3) Using geostatistics analysis distribution of the elements and establishes the valuation model of mining area.(4) Taking advantage of assignment3D block models can extract specified cell blocks, article expounds the relationship between the different structural entities and researches the spatial distribution of①,②,③,④main ore bodies. This explored a ways to using of3D models.
