The low permeability gas reservoir of the Shaximiao at Wubaochang in the East Sichuan which is the first fluvial and lacustrine facies sandstone gas reservoir fully put into exploration and development. What’s more, in the lecture, doing the research on the comprehensive geological characters to make contribution to the development goal is another means, such as, types and distributions of sand-bodies in Shaximiao, reservoir characteristics, reserve evaluation.Based on lithology, electrical characteristics, the bottom of Jiaxiangzhai sandstone services as the boundaries to the Shaximiao layer, the lower Shaximiao layer is divied into two sub-segmental and the upper Shaximiao layer is divied into three sub-segmental. The first and second sub-segmental of Shaximiao are the main producing intervals which is apparent. Deltaic front subaqueous distributary sand-body, channel mouth bar sands and meandering channel point bar sandstones are the main types of the sand-body, which is vertical superimposition with many types of the sand-body in portrait and bad continuity in the plane, mostly develop in the first sub-segmental. Rock types of the reservoirs in research area are debris-feldspar, light gray feldspar-debris sandstone and lithic sandstone with low porosity and penetrability.Through division, correlation, distribution and the re-calculation of the natural gas geological reserve of the mainly gas producting formation in the study area and the gas reserves evaluation, proposed the favorable exploration and development target in the southern of the area extends to the southwest direction in the line of Qian6well to Qian4well which is south to Du22well and east to the Qian9well to Qian12well. What’s more, the last three recommendation wells are proposed basing on being made research comprehensively.
