The12th Five-Year period is the peak of construction of large oil storage tanks.but the storage tank corrosion and leakage offen occurred. Domestic storage tanks offen take the composite structure to prevent corrosion,such as undercoat+intermediate coating+top-coat which have very complicated construction procedure, so improving the level of storage tank anti-corrosion technical and ensuring the safety of large storage tank is an important problem that must be addressed. On the basis of these problems, a new environmentally friendly anti-corrosion coating have been developed and provide a single structure for large storage tanks.Solvent-free antistatic coating was concocted by using E51epoxy resin as main film-former, rutile titanium dioxide, BC-C conductive mica and BC-P conductive quartz sand as additives,reactive diluents and anti settling agents,curing agent as well as other homogeneous materials. A solvent-free antistatic coating with the best comprehensive properties was screened through resistance against aviation kerosene,conductive properties,bending properties and adhesion,analyzed the relationship between the different resins,conductive filler,dusting agents,reactive diluents and the coating properties.Solvent-free weathering coating with synthesized by one-step was screened through testing coatings’performances, such as adhesion, tensile strength, resistance against salt spray, freeze-thaw cycle, soaking in the hot water, artificial accelerated aging test,the water contact angle, chemical resistance test,DSC,EIS impedance test.Studied the relationship between the material and the coating properties, results show that the Polyaspartic ester is more suitable for top-coat than the polyurethane.The performance of the different resin have been tested by artificial accelerated aging test. The high-performance polyaspartic acid ester F6was screened through measuring the brightness and the color aberration of the film in stationary time space. The developed coating have excellent weather resistance ability,which the loss of the gloss is1%. The comparative analysis of the changes in the morphology and chemical structure between aging and non-aging coatings have been discussed by SEM,FTIR,EDS.The developed solvent-free antistatic coating and Solvent-free weathering coating can spray400u m once and suitable for single anti-corrosion structure.Testing results show that the coatings fully meet the oil storage tanks standards.
